ive got a couple of stories lol. some sellers have backed out last min, some sellers buy them quickly since they are close to car and within a month get a hold of me and want 2,3,4 even 5k more which doesn't settle too well with me. i have had to be away because of work for certain cars.

Previous WTB ads i have traveled with my trailer over 1,000 miles and was not what they had said. came back empty handed with fuel bill and etc. Then they contact me again because they have a terminator LOL. really!

Some terminator owners for example want close to $30,000 for a 40,000+mile car with 6 owners. When on forum I have seen low mile 1,2 owner cars with 30,000 less miles sell for 20-28k.

My ad does specify what id be willing to pay for the right car 20-30K.

None have been highly sought after CO, nor mystic. Majority have been over 10-15k miles. 45k I imagine that thing was at 5!miles on ODO

At 45k if it had above 5,000 miles as mentioned earlier there is an ASS for every seat.

Don't give up. I looked for a year and a half and finally found the car for me.
I was all over the map , geographically and money wise.
A couple of cars I offered on at dealers and they said no- then months later said yes but it was too late- I had already purchased my car.
Recently, I pulled into a gas station and there was a guy with a same vintage 2v GT and he had money in his car. Big hood, street slicks on the back.,loud, loping etc...
I pulled in with my SB vert, top down, stock wheels and exhaust..- he wouldn't even LOOK at me, LOL.
A priceless moment. I love my car... Good Luck- Don't give up!!!

Lol I could imagine guys face knowing you could probably smoke him even with his rowdy cam.

Although difficult to find, they do pop up every now and then. If there are cars you know of that meet your criteria but seller is asking 2k-3k more than what you know they bought it for, it may be worth paying. It would save yourself the headache of the search and once it's rumbling/whining down the road 2k will be easier to swallow.
