And to think back in 2009 you could mine 50 Bitcoin per day with one laptop! Compare that to my ridiculous setup that only nets .74 - 1 ETH per week! Got into it too late lol!

Damn, those are some impressive rigs. $2000/mo is pretty dang good.

My section about mining was also related to staking. From what I understand, you can stake ADA at 4-5% by doing basically nothing. There could be huge gains there if the price keeps going up.

I have never sold any ETH for USD. So this is all paper profit that goes up or down depending on the price of Ethereum.

It sounds impressive but it really is not when you consider that you could have mined 50 BTC per day on one laptop back in 2009. That's over $1.8 million per day at current prices!

@quad thats impressive. TBH i have no idea what that is all about. I put $1k into ETH. I also bought 300 coins of ADA and 100 dogecoins for a buck. Thats about all ill do. i may throw a little at ETH or ada here and there. Its pretty amazing to look back and say wow, imagine if i bought it at.....but thats probably true with many things. I really want to grab a bunch of ripple XRP, i think they will make it through all this and do well. But i feel i have some time before that happens. Right now its like >30 a coin. May just grab 100 coins now and hold. Or just wait and watch. Now i want to throw a little bit every week. just now sure if its wiser to grab bits of ETH or start stocking up on ada. Im just happy to be involved now.

I averaged up at BTC 31.5K ETH 940. 26% & 31% drawdowns in a insanely strong bull market are dips to be bought.

Don't look to me for advice..hahahaha. Here are the ones I have investments in. Mostly Bitcoin and Ethereum. I have a $25.00 a week allotment into Bitcoin. This is just play money but who knows when it gets serious. Have about $2800 into this currently and sitting around 8K-9K currently. Only real move I made lately was buying 6 shares of Amazon as a long term investment.

whats your take on XRP? you following what is going on? I feel they are going to be a big player, and at sub $.30 a little bit of money can go a long way if they take off as predicted. i was going to buy today but figured i would wait. they keep staying around the 29 to 30 cent mark. i have some time before they take off i would think. Would love to have the time to be right where XRP or ADA at their current prices are the next BTC, or even go to hit 20k or so.

Thanks. I really enjoyed building the rigs. I've been building computers since the 1990s and this was just an excuse for me to slap together a bunch of good quality equipment lol! I am going to part it all out in a few months I think. I have 12 high quality gold rated power supplies spread over 3 rigs. They have been rock solid.

I was mining Ethereum exclusively with Claymore's miner. The dude was getting a percentage from everyone using his software. I saw his Ethereum wallet once and the guy was raking in a ton of ETH every day just via his developer fee. His miner stopped working as the DAG file approached 4 GB. Claymore is missing in action and has not updated his software for over a year. Some rumor floating around is that the Russian mafia killed him. Probably BS. I'll post his address if I can find it.

So I had to switch my rigs over to a different miner. I tried a few and eventually settled with Phoenix Miner. It can mine Ethereum with both Nvidia and AMD cards in a rig. And Claymore's Manager works with Phoenix Miner so it is easy for me to see all the temperatures and fan speeds of each GPU on one screen. If a rig goes offline I can see it easily. The rigs don't have monitors hooked up unless I have to do a lot of work on them that can't be done remotely.

Two of my 1070 TI cards failed in the past 3 years. I was able to replace them via RMA. But they are all now out of warranty. None of the RX580 cards failed. So they appear to be robust! The heatsink plumbing on the Saphire RX580 cards are really impressive and sturdy. The cards run cool.

A few years back I was tracking the ETH / XRP exchange rate. I bookmarked this link when 1 ETH was going for 292.9 XRP.

As I am posting this the ratio is 1 ETH to 4000 XRP!

XRP Charts

I might just grab a few thousand XRP. I already have a few thousand. But we'll have to wait for the SEC suit to complete. Binance.us and Coinbase have stopped XRP trading I believe. If the issue between the SEC and Ripple is resolved I think XRP might move up a bit.

Yeah I like him because I like his predictions lol! Just hope they pan out. He bought a Hellcat recently and has the Bitcoin logo on one of his rear fenders. You have to look carefully to spot it because it is very subtle.

Just bought into Chain link, alot of buzz going on about it. Plus it makes sense that that would be a big mover in the near future and beyond.
