So they'd be easy enough to hide or would blend in well.

Yes sir. I don't mind having them out of sight as mentioned earlier by Grabber, but I don't want them hid so well that it interferes with my access to them. Remember, one of them will be for my line lock. So, I will need to deactivate it while keeping my eyes on the road.

Lastly, when I'm dead and gone I don't want it to be very difficult to figure out how things operate LOL.

I was thinking on the side by your leg. Little less conspicuous but fairly easy to find. I'm sure whoever ends up with the car will have gone for at least one ride with you.

Lmao! How have I been slacking off? I posted Monday about all the work I did on the transmission mount, my console and my hydraulic slave cylinder. Oh and my Speedhut gauges.

It's only Friday. I haven't had a chance to work on the car due to work lol.

I know you guys want updates, but I only work on the car on the weekends lol.

Besides on Monday I'll have a significant update to post :D.

Patience grasshopper....lol.

Okay everyone,

Even though I've been slacking LMAO (that cracks me up every time I think about it @Grabber70Mach), I was able to get a lot done this weekend.

First, I got my Estopp delivered. Now I just need to figure out where to mount it.

I was able to plumb my hydraulic clutch hard line. Now I have my brake lines and clutch lines plumbed. Next will be my fuel lines.

You can see my pencil marks to the left of the green line.

Here I have the reservoir holder in place.

Got the hardline ran from my reservoir to the slave cylinder.

Better angle of the hardline routing.

Got my hardline ran from the slave cylinder to the engine panel. I had to rob the bulkhead fitting off the brake line to get this set up. Another bulkhead fitting is on the way.

Here you can see the hardline behind the anti-roll control. Ran it down the firewall and then out to the frame rail.

Clutch hardline running along side rear brake line.

Here the hardline is ran through the frame rail and towards the transmission opening where the -3AN throw out bearing hose will be. I left it unterminated as I'm not sure where the throw out bearing hose will line up yet.

Okay, since my Estopp arrived and it came with the button style I'm looking to use I decided to mock up my center console. I already ordered 2 more buttons/switches. Should be here later this week and I can install them next weekend.

Got the gear shift area cut out.

I tried installing the console with the shifter lever in place. It would not go. The shifter lever has to be removed for installation. This means my shifter boot will have to be removable.

Fits VERY well and the shifter lever rows through all the gears with no interference.

Here I was checking to see if the buttons would fit in this area. Looks like it's a go...…

Tape placed in this area and measurements made for all three buttons/switches. Got the Estopp button installed. I'm really liking this mounting point.

Looks really good on the console and mounted in the car. GREAT idea @Grabber70Mach!!!!

I was racking my brain on trying to figure out how to cut the hole without going to big or messing up the fiber glass. Turns out the thickest part of this step bit was the prefect size. SWEET!!!

That looks really good on the console. And you buried the Headline!! That thing looks awesome!

Thank you SM94Cobra! I'm super stoked! After I placed that stack injection on top of the motor I was going into the garage like every 5 minuets just to look at it LMAO!!!! Yeah, I know, I'm big kid LOL.

And I don't think I buried the headline, but, rather saved the best for last LOL.

Looking great! LOVE the induction, it just seems "right"
This brings to mind the phrase "No expense spared". Congrats on the progress.

Thank you Bullitt!!! Yeah, I have always felt a stack injection just fits the 60's muscle car vibe. When I watch videos of the big car guys doing a review of it they mention performance, but always say nothing provides a visual punch like a stack injection system. I have to agree. I know a lot of people are going to freak when they see this type of set up on a 65 Mustang coupe LOL.

I hear you on the no expense spared. I should be good now as ALL the major components have been bought and paid for. Now comes the being nickeled and dimed to death LOL.

Glad to hear that the switch location suggestion worked out for you. Last one to inspire you for your first drive when you get it back together.
I'll try to quit mucking up your thread with my random fly-bys.

LOL, you don't muck up my thread brother. I enjoy your comments and I enjoy the banter. That's why I stopped posting on the vintage site because no one was commenting or providing constructive feedback or ideas.

LOL, I have this Tin sign on the wall in my office...……
