Raxiom V2 tail issues

Bought the raxiom v2 tails plug and play for my 2011 Gt500. Left side didn’t light so I assumed bad and sent them back. After installing my stock ones again, I noticed they work fine until the engine is on then only the left side turn signal stops working…. I’m stumped. Alternator overcharge….. that would mess both sides up…. Ground from connector to body is good and tight. Any clues?

Again, when the vehicle is on accessory only, everything works fine. Turn the car on and I lose left signal. Thanks

@Vinnie_B

What says the electric guy?

This one is beyond me. Switched out fuses, checked all the grounds I could reach to include battery and tails themselves. My only guess is somehow the LED on the left didn’t draw enough current and tripped something… no clue.

I suspect an issue with the Body Control Module B @cochino_s197 . I need to look into this more to rule out any other possible issues and conclude that BCM-B is were we need to focus our attention on. Please be patient as im extremely busy and being pulled in multiple directions around the clock.

What ground wires did you check @cochino_s197 ? One I need to confirm that you checked is Labled G400 (in rear luggage compartment, LH side ) Also can you run a scan test and check for any fault codes.

So I was also thinking BCM after more research. I appreciate your timely response and no worries on immediate feedback I’m also at work.

The ground wires I checked were right off the battery and then the individual ground wires that splice off of the taillight connectors. When I pulled codes the only one I’m getting is U0109 (lost communication with fuel pump control module) which is also relayed through the BCM if I am not mistaken? Thanks man

U0109 - Lost Communication With Fuel Pump Control Module A

Description:

The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the fuel pump monitor (FPM) circuit for the presence of a duty cycled signal. If the FPM circuit is fixed at a low or high voltage, the PCM begins to increment a counter. The test fails when the PCM is still not detecting a duty cycled signal on the FPM circuit after a calibrated amount of time.

**Need to check G400 ground wire (in rear luggage compartment, LH side ) it could be the issue related to your existing problem and this U0109 Fault. Take the ground wire off and clean it up and reinstall. Let me know if that helped. Its just one of many possible causes, but the first I would check.
