Really liking my Cobra Engineering Crossover Delete kit. Really cleans things up. Just waiting on my thermostat bypass cap/plug from HPS, to remove the down tube. Plus James is such a nice guy, awesome to deal with and smart as hell.

That is nice. I have James' intercooler kit and it's a nice piece.

One thought: would a 45' out from the driver side head allow a cleaner 'bend' to the splitter block? Or is something in the way?

That’s what I thought but I think it would actually interfere with blower belt.

I have his Intercooler kit too!View attachment 1745011

If you have the auxiliary idler pulley, mine is the metco kit, I could not get the standard 90 or 45 degree elbow to fit behind the auxiliary idler bracket. I had to use a slim fit 90 to get it to fit behind the idler bracket. I have 2 different 90's and 1 extra 45 from trying to find the one that fits

Damn. My GenV has that silicone crossover. Haven’t decided what route to go.

Not sure if it will affect the durable integrity of the bracket or not. Here's the Amazon link where I found my slim fit 90
AC PERFORMANCE Black Aluminum 90 Degree -12 AN Male Flare to -12 AN Male Swivel Fitting Adapter With AN12 O-ring ORB Port

So it’s essentially a “hard bend” 90

Could work, but I'm not sure if the stresses from a tight belt would be magnified if a piece of the bracket were milled away..the way I see it, they made that area thick for a reason, especially if it doesn't bolt/mate to anything

My guess is the reason is less machining time. 90s are stress points any way I'd just minimize the material removed and match the shape of the other cut out.
