I saw a post of a girl getting a used Audi with a 11% interest rate, her previous car interest was closer to 20% so she was happy lol

Local credit unions still giving out loans with under 3.5% interest. Its mind blowing how many people dont go thru with them and rather sign an 8%+ contract because its cheaper monthly but for 84 months

Credit unions are creeping up.

Im sure they are but is still on most cases the better cheaper option on used cars vs traditional banks.

Regardless, a 2k drop on a car is better than a 1% interest increase. At least you can make higher payments to the principal to save on interest. Still a loose loose situation to what it was before.

I got an email from the local Ford dealer. They're up to 90 vehicles in stock. Last email which was probably last month said 75. Are you seeing the same trend Nick?

Dealer in my city used to have 5-10 cars on the lot. this morning it looked like they had 40-45. They were 3 rows deep vs the typical spread nose to tail trying to take up as much frontage as possible.

Edit: Just checked their website and they are starting to list new f150s about 7-8% off MSRP. 60 days ago it was 3-5k over.

Now that the automakers finally have the parts to make the cars, nobody will be able to afford them between interest rates and unemployment!

I just checked mine, it was 3.5% when we bought my wife’s pilot last year now 5%.

On the plus side I’ve been watching truck prices because I plan to buy next year and they seem to be coming down a decent amount on the used side.

The trade values angle was why I have been looking so hard the last 6 months for a new truck. Found a new one that came out of the dealer loaner pool and made a good deal with a good mark off MSRP and all the money for my trade. I figured I was gonna be stuck waiting for either inventory to improve by a lot or ordering wait times to come way down. Right now, dealers were telling me 6 months for delivery on new.

Local ford has 6 or so f150 tremors. Earlier this year they had slight markups on them and they would be off the lot right away. Trucks are starting to stay on lots longer here.
I see the tremor is exempt from the 2.9% for 60 months.

I finally found a local dealer with an Edge ST for the wife to look at last weekend. It still had a $5k mark up on the window.

Ford dealer near me has four GT500s in stock which seems crazy. I’ll go down and kick the tires, but have a deposit in on a C8 and have shifted away from Ford for awhile.

Production numbers were so low, just no incentive for Ford dealers to move on price. Although, local Chevy and Ford dealer have been sitting on a corvette and GT500 with ADM for months now.

Neighbor just picked up a GT500 w/CFTP for $129K. He has a TT GT350 too….
