Not trying to feed an army, any reason one of the ~530 cubic inch smokers wouldn’t be big enough? A single pork butt or a couple racks of ribs would be the most I’d wanna do at a time.

Thinking for smaller amounts the smaller one might be better/quicker. Looking the pitboss lexington or similar
See below Jerry.
I've found smokers to be like garages. They fill up quick.

For sure. We'll do ribs and other stuff for the rest of the week sometimes and fills up real quick.

You'll want them all the time. It's crazy how much they shrink.

Looking for suggestions for my next cook. The main reason I got into smoking was to eventually get brisket, but I'm not ready for that yet. Brisket is expensive and easy to **** up so I want to really have my smoker+lump+process dialed in before I give that a go.

I did the Boston butt and some baby backs. I'm looking for another thing to smoke before I go back and go through the same same cooks for a second time.

Turkey breast is on the list for Thanksgiving so that'll be another thing to experiment with, but I don't want to do that for my next cook. I figure there's enough time before turkey day that I can get my first turkey "boob" (as @03cobra#694 aptly calls it) cook under my belt before then.

Beef ribs are on my mind but I'm open to other suggestions.

Try a couple of Cornish game hens, really tasty. A pork or beef tenderloin is kick ass also. Have you done a whole chicken?

I would suggest you getting the biggest chuck roast you can find. It's known as the poor man's brisket and it's pretty damn good.

We also do a 4 bean baked bean thing for 3 hrs than is orgasmic while doing ribs.
What's your recipe for that?

Really excited to start smoking sides while doing the meats but like I said in an earlier post, doing my best to contain myself and work on one thing at a time

I'll ask the boss when she gets back from shopping. I know it's like 3 or 4 different kind of canned beans, BBQ sauce (I think), mustard and a few other things. I know I do them 3 hours on the grill.
