94-98 Cobra replacement bumpers no longer available?

So my front and rear bumpers are showing their age and have already been through a few repaints. I was looking into getting some fresh new bumpers but it looks like no one makes front bumpers anymore for the cobras!

I believe OER was producing them but has discontinued them. When I selected " add to cart" a pop up appeared stated it was discontinued.

It seems Daniel Carpenter produced the rear bumpers off original Ford tooling but it's Unclear if they're currently still producing them, late model restoration only shows three in stock while most places have shown out of stock for months.

This is rather disheartening. I hope some aftermarket company picks up production again, I guess not enough cobras are getting wrecked or repainted anymore.

Carpenter will probably make more. You'll just have to be patient.

So I emailed Carpenter and the rep informed me they have no plans to stop producing the rear bumpers but their plant is backlogged and have no idea when they will get around to it. So that's good news in a way


When asked about producing front bumpers, they have no known plans for acquiring that tooling at this time. So there seems to truly be no company in the world currently producing front bumpers covers for 94-98 cobras. What a tragedy.

Look on eBay for used front 94-98 Cobra covers…. Also hit other Mustang forums or whatever Social Media platforms you may visit.

Check out car-part.com too and you can put in a search request that will hit multiple yards.
