You don't tend to see as much of that around here. The old big 3 really duke it out with pickup sales.

That's nice. Around here it really got bad around Covid and while it's improved, some dealers are in no rush to go back to the way it was. And with the influx of people here with "money" it's not like it's slowing down here

How is the truck market looking with days of inventory and below MSRP sales?

I’m seeing some advertised 1.9-2.9 APRs from Ford and Chevy/GMC and I think Toyota.

Is this just a final sprint to close out as many sales before quarter end?

I’m trying to convince my wife that a 2024 gasser F-250 tremor sport package is better value over a 2024 Toyota tundra limited.

I will be towing a 7800 GVWR 33’ travel trailer.

If that is enclosed, I would not consider anything less than an F250. Just from the side winds blowing it around on a bad wind day. Huge difference in stability between the two.

Not to mention Godzilla/10 Spd/4.30 gear combo. I went diesel, as I wanted max power/torque (and have 14K car trailer, that someday might be used to max capacity) , but plenty LOVE the above combo, on FTE.

I was there for an oil change so I’m not sure. I do know they all had markups on them. One has accessories that they are charging $43k for.
haha probably not then, i had a buddy who said they were selling for less than MSRP now and was a little skeptical...had to check!

Not surprised Teslas are the best selling vehicle in Kommiefonia

Its always hilarious seeing a long line of EV car's waiting to get recharged lol
Did a 2 week road trip from Portland Oregon to San Diego last year and saw more Tesla's than anyone could imagine. It was crazy lol.

I rented one once, just to drive it really. No way I could own one, the battery anxiety would kill me.

Mofo was fast though!

Seems like lots are full and inventory is slow moving…. Probably due to the sky high interest rates for those needing loans for purchase…

Even the used car market is tanking (as expected and predicted). I’m seeing on multiple forums where those seeking to sell via the big box “traders” such as CarMax, Vroom, Carvana, etc…. It’s funny (in a way) that people are bitching about they can’t get inflated values anymore for their used vehicles…. It’s more like hey, you missed that train almost 2 years ago… LOL…

Interest rates combined with sky high msrps. Also, anyone looking to buy today who has a trade that was bought during covid dealer gouging, will most likely be underwater by a huge amount.

I used to replace my vehicle after about 4 years but I'm in year 7 now with zero desire to walk on a dealer lot after the treatment we got when we had to replace my wife's car in early 2022. Private party for me going forward...

I've heard stories about lenders becoming more stringent and difficult overall when buying from a private party. Anyone experience this?
