I sold a sig 320 on armslist a couple of months ago. The buyer was annoying and kept trying to chisel me. I had 4 extra mags that I would have given to him for free but he was such a bitch that I threw them away instead.
Too bad, I would have bought them from you.

Local dealer has a bunch of staccatos in stock. Fondled a P2 and C2. I like the feel and balance but the flimsy plastic trigger is a doorknob issue at this price point.

I asked the guy at the counter if these were interchangeable with 1911 triggers but he thought it was proprietary. Anyone know the answer to this?

You should be able to use any 2011 trigger in there, but might need to be properly fitted. I used many SVI triggers in old STI's before so it should still work.

I think things could be a little different with Staccatos. I tried to put a metal flat face trigger in mine but it was not a direct replacement. You will need to do some "gunsmithing." To get mine to work, I was going to need to file out the channel that the trigger bow goes into. I did not feel like doing that, so I left the curved trigger in.

Google Fu tells me that Red Dirt has a good drop in option. Atlas will work but need some filing.

Price is no object. You can only buy one:

Masterpiece DS 9
Staccato P

Which and why?

Took my CZ Shadow 2 to the range to sight in my Holosun. What a blast and was eating the center out like I was a hooker in need of 20 bucks. My Beretta 92X is indeed broken and in need of help. It either wouldn't fire or would take wayyyy too much pull to fire. Felt a brake pedal with air in the line. Stems from the round the pretty much blew up in the chamber sending smoke and shrapnel out into my face. FTL

Squib load?
Well the round did leave the barrel but the casing got stuck in the barrel. When I went to remove it with a brass cleaning rod the rear end fell off and the cartridge and the barrel of the cartridge remained. I did notice some scaring of the feed but thought it was ok. Apparently something else got damage but I have not taken it apart yet.

Atlas and Red Dirt should both work. I have an Atlas trigger and shoe sitting around waiting to install on my XC.

On your question of which gun, I think a Staccato P is hard to beat for the price.

I don't really have a strong desire to upgrade the trigger on my P.

I can get a Masterpiece for less than a Staccato.

Masterpiece
- All forged, no MIM
- No plastic
- Handfit barrel and slide

Staccato
- MIM
- Plastic grip model, plastic trigger guard, plastic trigger
- Not handfit
