I have a 2000 ltng that is still under warranty so I really dont want to chip it, will my dealer know that Ive had a reflash/retune done. I want to add a lower pulley but I dont know how much boost is safe w/out a chip. My proposed mods include the boost bypass mod, a ftvb, k&n drop in filter...

I just seen a post about torque reduction during shifts via the boost bypass valve. Is this how the trucks come from the factory and will the bypass mod fix this and will I notice any performace gains? It's stock except for the magnaflow cat back. :shrug:

Hey guys, I just wanted to thank you all for all the exhaust info. I just got my sillverbullit ala carte installed except for the 4" tips (they are on the way) and MAN IT SOUNDS BAD AXE!!!!!!!!!! I'm really happy with the sound. Thanks again for all the help and info. :D :D :D :D

I found a local muffler shop that will order and install a magnaflow "x" pipe and 2 magnapacks ala JDM silver bullit for about $220.00. I was wondering if going with 3.5" or 4" tips about 12-24 inches long would improve or change the exhaust note and how? ANYBODY???????
