The low end on both graphs I have posted are nearly identical.
Each graph is showing 2 pulls. One pull on E85 (lower #'s) and one on E98. The older posted graph was a baseline and the newly posted graph is after revisements. This is probably where you are seeing the different curve.
There was...
Well gents, I picked the car up this past Sunday and dropped another off. Obveiously looking back at this build thread you'll see that this has been a LONG road. What started as a blower swap, snowballed into a full build. Not a single part of the driveline hasnt been touched and nearly every...
Pulley combo was a 3.5 upper, 7.40 lower. Made about 34#. Believe this was on the street and off the gauge, not entirely accurate but nonetheless it wasnt where we want it.
Based on the info provided by Lethal. A 4" and 6.55 would land close to 28#. Every .125= 1# on the whipple 4" and the...
As of now, I dont know what the combo was. This is the info I have for now, through short phone conversations. I could ask, but it dosent matter until its sorted. Goal was 28# max on E85. He said, it was climbing towards 40#s fast. That could be anything over 30#s which is not unrealistic. The...
I've got 2 on deck. SCT BA-5000 and the Ford 07-2010 gt500 slot maf. Sounded like the tuner thought the Ford maf would work better with the E85. Time will soon tell.
The car is ready for the dyno again. It made 960hp before the belt jumped off. Found the metco standoff was bent. Replacement revised parts are in and ready. Also when on E85, it was climbing toward 40lbs real quick. Swapped to a 4" upper and 6.55 lower to try and get it down to about 28#. Had a...
Short update: The car is in its final tuning stages. It's had a base tune put on for break in. It's now hit the dyno for several long sessions. Has made over 960rwhp just before throwing the belt. After lots of diag time, the cause has been found and will soon be repaired for more finalizing...
Mild base tune was put on the car 2 weeks ago. 50 break in miles were put on it at that time. Some minor things to work out as with any major build. Itll be hitting the dyno very soon.
No, did not need to cut the firewall. I cut the hood inner support trying to avoid spacers. But only ended up with spacers in the end and a cut hood :(. I wanted to keep the hood original, but might try a cowl hood in the future and ditch the spacers. (edit; guess the form dosent like emojis.)
Yes, I was having fitment issues for almost a year! Ultimately I decided it had to be the K member. I purchased the MM K. First off I noticed it was extremely heavy compared to the upr and I immediately wished I didnt have to swap them. The MM wasnt even close to mating up to the frame rails...
