How long should a stock clutch and throw out bearing last in a 98 cobra, it isnt a track car and is maybe floored once a week...but i have owned the car since 68,000 miles and it now has 75,000 miles...dont know how it was driven before. Should i start saving for a new clutch?

i have a 98 cobra, plastic IMRC i think. I get a check engine light from the IMRC's (p1516 CODE) about every 2 months and i just wanted to know if it is worth it to delete them?...maybe ZIP TIE them or something?...and would i get any gains on the DYNO???
