How often should you change your gearbox oil? My use is mainly sedate street driving and an Autocross Track day every couple of months giving it heaps.

I changed the oil in my 2013 GT500 about 5 months ago. I replaced the filter and reset the oil set light to 100%. 5 months and 700 miles later and car is now telling me it needs another oil change. I have done 3 track days during this time and obviously pushed the oil to its limit so maybe...

Been doing a few track sessions in my stock 2013 GT500 (apart from Magnaflow Race axles backs) and looking to now ring a little bit more out of it and would be keen to hear suggestions. The circuit I drive on is very new (only a few years old) and very smooth so I don't have any handling issues...
