What issues? Reason I ask is I have a stock 5 8 with a 4.0 whipple and a 4" pulley and l&m cams. Just wondering what I should be on the lookout for when it comes to any issues.

Thank you! I appreciate it! Also how are you seeing that much boost? The guy I'm getting this car from is only seeing 8 psi with a 4.0 inch pulley

I just figured it would be more efficient and easier on the motor making this kinda power on low boost than a smaller blower with more boost to make the same power.

Hey everyone, just have a few questions on a car I'm getting ready to purchase. The car is a 13 gt500 cammed with l&m nsr cams and has a 4.0 leader Whipple on it with a 4" pulley tuned by Lund on 91/93. Car has under 5k miles on it as it has been pretty much a garage queen. Car has long tube...
Hey just curious on what you mean by light battery? I believe I'm having similar issues once I installed the dual fan HE on my 2013 shelby. The fans caused my car to cut power at like 4k rpm. Once I disconnected them it ran fine again. I'm thinking maybe battery or alternator? Any tips?
All very good points. I did drive it there but I let it sit for about a hour and a half and it was at night. Also can I still get belt slip with the idler auxiliary pulley?

Gotcha and I understand all of that but even with the stock throttle body and exhaust I should have been into the 600s. Any ideas as to why not?

Hey guys, with all the research and videos I've seen a 5.4 with the 2013 tvs should easily crack into the 600s for rwhp. Sadly that was not my case. I have a 2013 shelby with a 2012 5.4 in it since the 5.8 blew up with the previous owner. It has the 2013 blower 2.4 upper pulley, pmas cai, and...
Dude! thanks for the info. Sounds like i need get that setup! plus you could give me a idea of what I should be running at the track with my mods on my 13 shelby
Hello all, were coming into the season fast here and I would love to know what alot of you have found to be some of the best wheel/tire setups for drag racing the 2013-14 shelbys. Im looking to get setup here soon so all advice is welcome! Should I go nitto dr on my 20 inch wheel? or go 15in...
You all are helping me greatly and I appreciate all of it. Im just trying to find the right way to go when I finally take my car to the drag strip. If I was not clear about that part Im sorry lol. Im basically going to be taking my car to the strip this year and want to be ready. I currently...
Dude I could not agree more about having the room for "all off" thats why im trying to figure out about a certain mode that might fit me untill im ready for all the car. Im around 650 rwhp.
Awesome man! Thanks for your input, and mode 6 is the 2 step feature witch allows for you to set your RPM with the clutch pressed in and throttle pinned it will stay at the set rpm you have chosen then once clutch is released you have all the power. At least that's what I've seen from when I've...
the manual shows like 8 different modes of L/C one mode is basically a factory 2 step, wouldnt you want to atleast use that? having a set rpm with the throttle pinned seems really nice for launching the car.
So to recap it looks like at the very least its a two step, witch in my opinion would be a huge selling point over the previous Shelbys. Not to mention that you would always want to use it at the track even if you were a pro driver.
ok so there is a 2 step feature. Ill try and figure out how to activate hit lol. because every time i hit the L/C button traction control seems to automatically come on.
The controversy is that some people say that a pro driver can do better like what you just said, however from what I can tell it acts like a 2 step. So as long as you have super sticky tires and there not spining, the L/C will have no need to kick in. Basically acting like a factory 2 step, and...
