Guess I should update this.
Went out to buy a new air compressor since I killed my little 21 gallon Harbor freight one. When my buddy and I were unloading it I took a wrong step getting off the back of the truck and dislocated my knee cap (0/10 would not do again)

Thanks man! And yes, I have big plans for ramming air down its throat! Not sure when that'll come though, for now I'm just happy to be back in it driving it lol.
She has fenders! Cruised it over to papa bear's house to make sure it rides as good as I thought (it do) and that cruise control works and yada yada yada. Only problem I'm having is if I'm driving for a while (on the interstate or something) and go to push the clutch in on the off ramp, the idle...
When I bought the IRS it came with the set of cables so I just went ahead and used those, since they had the correct tabs for bolting them to the trailing arms already. Everything went together nice and easy! (as easy as spring loaded mustang e-brake cables possibly could LOL)
Found out why I had no lights also. Through a certain amount of googling I traced the problem back to the multifunction switch in the column. Went to go check it out expecting to replace the switch. Nope, it was unplugged as shit. Works great now!
Thanks! I didn't do anything to it, other than pop a pinion seal in it, and put fresh fluid in it. But when I got it, it already had energy diff mount bushings and a billetflow brace. Probably the easiest thing I've ever done. The cradle bolted straight up to the factory mounting locations that...
Test drove this pig today.

First impressions:
My god, I should've done the IRS swap years ago. Makes the car tons more predictable and rides like a cadillac. The car runs great. Like it was a factory 4.6 car. The alternator died, RIP. Tested with another one...
I see! Yep, totally misread that. Nothing wrong with going with what works! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the arms and the final fitment of the brakes. I was excited for the alcons, so this is going to be insane lol.
I'd rather see these brackets tailor fit to MM arms than to be swapped out for team Z arms. MM's tubular products have always given me more of a sense of "these were designed to be a weight savings over stock, while not compromising any strength or rigidity", whereas UPR, team Z, etc, has always...
So a few updates. The car does run. Got the intake all welded up, put it together for the last time, hit the key and it fired right up. Looks to have a dead coil or two, so I'll be ordering a set of those today.

This is the engine bay in all of its final glory...
Thanks guys!
Got my intake tube all pieced together and it is getting tig welded currently as we speak by a good friend of mine.

I made a ton of progress over the last week. Key points are:
Wiring harness tucking/extending/wrapping DONE
A/C lines cleaned, polished, installed
Cobra front brakes installed
Alternator disassembled, painted, rebuilt with all brand new parts
Power steering reservoir relocation done
All power...
Hey thanks man! That means alot! I'm sure he's loving the car. I consider myself extremely fortunate that a mustang was my first car. So much aftermarket support for relatively cheap, and it's a fairly simple car that you can learn as many mechanical skills as you want on! I wouldn't trade it...
Not much of an update but, I put on the tank, exhaust, driveshaft, parking brake cables, etc. Have to pull the exhuast back off to polish before it goes on for good but I couldn't help but mock it up once I had the H pipe on it.

Hey man thanks! good to see another Mississippian on SVTP!
So I picked up a set of cobra brakes the other day for the low. My buddy bought a 95 GT and wanted to upgrade to new edge brakes, he made me an offer on my stockers, and I took it and bought cobras. Calipers were hideous when I bought...
Today's mini project. Refurbished the front control arms and are now ready to go back on the car. Pressed in new Moog ball joints, wire wheeled and painted, and installed new Energy sway bar links.
