Ever installed urethane bushings and they got wore out quickly?

I went with Prothane from LMR. Prolly should have done more research at the time. I don't mind the stiff ride but those hard impacts are wearing on my nerves when riding over repaired potholes lol. Far as NVH, think my OCD is kicking in lmao. The occasional ride in my wife's Camry XSE doesn't...

Ever installed urethane bushings and they got wore out quickly?

As the title says, any of you ever install urethane bushings and they get sloppy loose on ya within a year? Only has the bushings for barely a year and while replacing the rear end, I noticed that on the rear upper control arms....the bolt sleeves would slide in and out of the urethane bushings...

    Beefing Up T-45

My mysitc has 80K miles on it and the input bearing just started making a slight noise. With that said, if I'm replacing that, might as well rebuild it the way it was "supposed" to have been made. I'm going with pro force. Forgot the guy's name that runs this place but this is all he does, T-45s...

    96 Mystic: 1st car show/1st award today!

Long story short, graduated in '97 so the Mystic has always held a special place in my heart lol. However, I've always been a camaro guy. LT1's were near and dear to me for their sound, which is why the 4.6L 32V always keep a bug in my ear. Those two motors will always have the best sound ever...

    96 Mystic: 1st car show/1st award today!

Old thread I know lol. What you need to do is reach out to Doug Demuro to have him do a review on your car. Aside from the insane low mileage but it's the mystic!! People today (that weren't kids in 96 lol) are shocked to learn when I tell them the mystic on my car is original and it came from...

    Problem diagnosing help

Old thread but had a few friends get new plug wires with one bad plug, especially with the blue Ford Performance ones. I bought a set before doing my research and got lucky. Problem was with one of the plugs. Just cause they are new, doesn't always mean they work.

97 Cobra Weird rattle/metallic Shuddering noise between 2k-3k RPM IN GEAR

I just went through "hell" with my rear end so if you can't work on it yourself, make damn sure the person on it knows what they are doing!! First things first, you've taken the words out of my mouth with your post. I'm experiencing the same sound. I hear most in the morning, even more so with...

    Purchased 96 cobra

Just cleaned my plates. Do your research on those. After a long debate, decided to keep mine on. After you clean em, hurry up and get an oil separator system. Lot less worry bout those getting gunked up again.

1998 Bright Atlantic Blue Cobra - What's it worth?

TBH, according to KBB, it's only worth 5700 on the high end. I recently bought a mystic 96 with 62k miles and it is MINT minus the leather being worn out on the driver side. I gave 7 for it. For shits n giggles I had a dealer quote me on trade in, they were only talking 2500 or so lol. To you...

Clutch replacement time - what to get?

I recently got the McLeod super street for my cobra. Way easier to push in than the factory clutch, fully engages after 1/2" of release and can handle 500HP. No complaints on mine after a couple months.
