Well sadly today we did another compression test cylinder 8 had like 35 psi , the rest were good but how do I tell if it’s a valve or something like that and not the cylinder

Does that mean it’s not firing or gas is not getting into that cylinder ?

Okay so today I pulled spark plug 8, 7, and 6 number 8 plug was dark and number 7 and 6 were white. I’ll post a picture of them. I also took the manifold off to check for messed up gaskets and stuff and then I realized they put intake manifold runner control imrc delete plates on the car does...

The ECM part number is ECC1414M idk if there is a way to check if that’s the right one

Are the Manuel and automatic ECM actually different or it just has to get reprogrammed ?

Well I put a new ECM in the car and it threw all transmission codes P0705, P0755, P0708, P0743 and the car ran way worse was stalling I check wires I’ll check again

Looks like each coil pack has 3 wires to each I tested it with a test light and only the center wires lite it up on each connector to the coil

Yeah I swapped everything still the same, I have a new ecm coming in tomorrow, I’m also going to go over the wires again, thank you for you’re help

Any possibility it could be the engine control module ?

I’m not to worried about it just never done one on these cars I have to find a layout on how to do it

Is it hard to do a wiring harness ?

There are stock autolite coils and wires on the car

Both coils packs were replaced also swapped them and still throws number 8 misfire

The injectors were done last year and were just recently cleaned another code came up p0351

The coils and plugs and wires are brand new , we changed the coils around still the same, is it possible it’s a dead cylinder

I just hooked the scanner up and finally got a reading cylinder 8 misfire P0308 , I unplugged the mass air flow sensor and the car continued running no different.

the car is not lowered it’s stock height

My brother had friend who’s a mechanic come to the house they compression tested it said it was good he said the wiring harness ? Any idea if that would do this to the car

On start up it runs good hot or cold then out of nowhere is does it gets weird

I hope it’s not like a dead cylinder or anything the cars all stock

Yeah it was revved all the way to the floor no change
