Wright Brothers out of Ohio also make a nice holster. I think you have an Ed Brown? I have a few 1911s, but nothing super high end. The day I get a sweet Wilson or Nighthawk (or Ed Brown) will be the day I will get a nice custom leather holster for it.

I think that's a bigger issue for semi autos. I'd find it hard to pull the trigger on that gun with the leather strap in place. My daily carry is setup a bit different...

Many manufacturers make a decent cantilever mount for a good price. I have a Vortex Strike Eagle 1 - 8 in a vortex mount. The scope is not exactly renowned for its eye relief but the setup works fine.

I could. It works pretty well as it is. If I needed a bit more precision work from a SCAR, I'd do a 20S in 6.5CM. I think for me it probably just adds unneccessary weight. KDG does make nice stuff.
