Hi all,
I'm in the finishing stages of tuning my car with SCT Advantage and now it's giving me a P0411 for AIR flow out of spec. Does anyone know which table controls this part of the car?
It's a 96 Cobra on CDAN4 strategy.
I think what he's saying is go over the work that you did in case you missed something. Like a bad connection on the fuel pump, etc. Grab the multimeter and start probing for voltage and resistance numbers.
If it's a garage queen you should be fine with factory specs. Your alignment tech should be able to use your current tires and adjust settings based on how they're wearing.
Your tires are more concerning being that they're 15 years old. Normal shelf life on tires is 6 years regardless of tread...
Is 12* of timing typical for this setup? With inlet temps under control I wonder if the engine can take more.
My tuner has mine set at 16* with 11psi on a non-intercooled setup on meth/water. 93 octane. I asked for a few more degrees and he wrote me off. It makes sense why now. o_O:LOL:
Atlantic Blue is a rare color. If feasible I'd rebuild it over time and use the Bronco as a daily. If you part it out I suppose you could get $7kish after it's all sold though.
L&M Engines or MPR can help with a turnkey shortblock.
I came across the injector data on EFIDynoTuning and used these numbers. Posting this for reference in case anyone else does a search in the future.

I am trying to tune a car with strategy code CDAN4NZ. It has the Ford F7PU-A4A injectors but I can't find the injector data anywhere. Need breakpoint, high & low slope and k-constant.
If you are a tuner and have this information handy, I will Paypal you some money.
I also think the ST will fit your needs better.
I'll give another vote for the Mazda 3 too. The hatchbacks are available in manual but that's a $34k car. The sedans are a few thousand less and available in turbo AWD if that's what you're after. Still rated at 23-32mpg with the heavier...
Did you replace the pump and hat assembly or just the pump? Is there any chance you may have crossed some wires if you only replaced the pump?
Can you reinstall the old switch box (I assume you're talking about the fuse box) to see if the car turns over again?
That 2003 is sweet. I'm partial to the 99-04s especially when they're done right like yours. My first Mustang was an 04.
S197s are fun cars and I found them easier to work on than SN95s. Less clutter in the engine bay and also more room to work with.
As for staying focused, I like to make a...
I rented a car through Turo and it was a good experience. Contactless pickup/dropoff was a plus, though not all hosts may do this. The other cool thing about Turo is you can pick obscure cars and can come out cheaper than the usual Enterprise/Budget rates. Obviously this depends on demand at the...
I was also thinking the MAF needs to be rescaled because MAF counts were at 850 at 5500rpm. I didn't take it any further.
Sorry for the weird wording. I was thinking since the blower is blowing air after the MAF, that amount of air is unmetered. But you're saying it's the same amount of air...
So I installed a 10% OD crank pulley for my Vortech V1 setup, and it's currently not tuned for that. For obvious reasons I have not attempted to see what the new boost level is, but I noticed while datalogging I have LTFTs climbing to 1.25 on both banks and they quickly settle closer to 1.0 as...
I found what my problem was. I was logging PIDs instead of DMR. Once I checked the boxes for DMR after validating them in Livelink before logging, I was good to go.
My next question is, if there are positive values for "knock sensor retard increment", are the sensors detecting knock?
I am trying to log spark, knock sensor activity, MAF counts, and load for my 96 Cobra using Livelink Gen2. Does anyone know the proper PIDs for these parameters? Or have a config file I can use? Thanks in advance.
I am attempting to log using Livelink Gen2 for other reasons but this config file is showing 0 for a lot of values while logging, and some numbers don't make sense (like 4400 for spark).
Is there something I have to change in Livelink?
Seems I learn everything the hard way! I had picked up a WAP block and 6 bolt crank to start a slow build which has now become a priority build. I'm thankful to be able to recover from this but it sucks that I ruined a Teksid.
It looks like the tire rubbed a hole in the fender liner. Car is lowered on a Eibach Pro-kit and it may have had wide tires at one point, rubbing the fender liner on tight turns. I've only had this car for a couple months so I don't know the history. I picked up a new liner for the passenger...
I was driving home through a storm one night and drove through standing water. The puddle probably wasn't big enough to cover your feet if you stood in it, but the tires kicked the water up at 35mph and let the engine ingest water. My air filter is in the fender because that's how the Vortech...
