I have a 03 stock from the manifolds back to the tail pipes

the rear diff cover is leaking on my 03 and i'm going to have to reseal it . how hard is it to do? the dealer wants 583 to do it . how much has to be removed to get to the center carrier? the standard hayes type manuals do not have sections on the irs. any help would be apperciated . thanks all...
