I replaced the Fram (junk, I know NOW) with the correct motorcraft filter and the sounds went away. There was a thread on this months ago about the right size bypass in the filter for the correct flow (something like that).

I am looking at the UPR cold air intake for my '03 Cobra. Both of my LS1 cars got a good .2 shaved off ther ET in the 1/4 from going to an aftermarket airbox. Can I expect this kind of gains on the Mustang?
