hey!! i put both of my stangs up for the winter and now i hear about possible seperation of the ethanol from the gas.everyone i've spoken to says it basically turns to water after 2 weeks or so. i added stabil to the tanks but i don't think that will solve this issue if it is an issue? any one...

at what point in your modding would this be the next step? i have done the gears-4.10's longtubes,h-pipe and exhaust, underdrive pullies(steeda) mgw shifter, c&L cold air intake and a dyno tune+chip. are the imrc's next? don't want to do something to hurt the performance. thanks guys:beer:
hey guys, got my bbk longtubes on,what a bitch that was, anyways i'm trying to put on my bbk h-pipe w/cats and the port for the 02 sensor is seemingly in the wrong place? the 02 sensor is hard up against the crossmember for the transmission, don't see how this is gonna work. anyone else have any...
ok, so i finally jumped in and started my longtube install. it's been fairly easy so far. got all the suspension and the k-member off, h-pipes off and when i have the next day off, i will remove the manifolds. i figure i should replace all the bushings since its all apart, motor mounts too...
ok, so i'm getting the idea that these are a pain in the ass to use. are they worth using? just don't want any exhaust leaks after i do my headers. i've read on here just to reuse the oem studs/nuts. opinions?
ok-so what was really so bad about the 74-78 mustang/cobra II that it should shunned as it is? was it the decals, interior or just poor quality all around? after all it did have a 302 so it should have been quick for a small car. just curious:shrug:
in the absence of a lift, how do you guys support your vehicle to get under it? 2 jackstands and your good to go? i'm a little shy about crawling under there so if there's any other suggestions i'd like to hear them:beer: this is for a longtube install if that helps or changes anything
i want to install my bbk longtubes myself, but i'm wondering if i should? i am somewhat mechanical and stubborn and i think i can do it. my issue is-- by removing the k member and steering rack, ami going to throw my alignment all to hell? i live about 30 miles to town so i will need to drive it...
i'll spare you the sorry details, but i may have to go to court for a summons on a class e crime. having never been in a courtroom in my life, when you make your plea,do you get a chance to explain yourself to the judge? or is it cut and dried, guilty or not guilty?will it do any good? i intend...
looking at the age thread/pole clearly shows the vast majority of those visiting this site are under 30. does this mean that cobra owners tend to be on the younger side of 30 or us older guys don't usually frequent web forums? please discuss:banana::beer::beer::beer:
how many cobras do you guys think get racked up/parted out each year? percentage wise? i mean 3088 cobra verts were made in 97,so in 11 years time how many would possibly be left? i'm a little superstitious:loser: so i thought about this for awhile but have been afraid to bring it up.
ok- i had 4.10's installed on my car about 4 months ago and i really like the difference they made.--BUT--after running my car, back and forth to work(about 60 miles) i can smell gear oil when i park it in the garage. at first i thought maybe some had gotten on the exhaust and was burning off,but...

i want to put wider tires on the rear but not sure what size to choose!:??: i have 17x8 w/245/45/17's on the front, ---rear? don't want drag slicks just something a little beefier. just installed new bilstiens w/quad shocks so nothing too wide, car is not lowered, frpp black bullitts all around...
mine was pink floyd in tampa stadium 1994. it was almost a religous experience! we were at the exact opposite end of the stage and i was depressed that we had bad seats, until the show started! when they got towards the end of comfortably numb and the ball opened and the little lights...
just had some work done on my car,4.10's,frpp driveshaft and mm sub-frames. also had the car tuned on a mustang dyno with a diablo chip. i had added a c&l cold air kit and steeda underdrives before i took it in. i'm very impressed with the car now, alot more power than i had before, but my dyno...
ok, so got everything off just fine, but when i go to re-install the balancer, i find my torque wrench clicks when i think it shouldn't. it's set on 120lbs as steeda recommends so i guess my problem is i don't have enough experience with the wrench to know just how it's supposed to work! could...
