Finally got the L dyno tuned...we pulled off 497 hp and 527 ft-lbs of torque with 14 degrees of timing running rich on the street setting, but went with 12 degrees of timing for added safety. I wanted to wait until the engine is completely brocken in before messing with the race setting, but...

The process of stripping down my old engine and moving parts over to the new shortblock has begun, but for some reason the JDM pulley cage will not come off. The three bolts that hold the cage on came off easily, but the piece that the pulley actually attaches to and screws into the other...

The heads and Kenne Bell are here...now the fun part begins. Cab is coming off the truck in a few days and the new engine should be up and running by this time next week. I'll keep yall posted on how it's going. Also, I still need to find a place to get a rear window to use with my cage...
