After scaring myself , I bought some Blizzak WS-50's 215/45-17's . They are great !! The car still handles quite well ,and braking and excelleration are much improved on the slippery stuff. :rolling:

I guess 16" rims don't fit on the SVT's due to the large brakes. I'm getting some real expensive quotes for 17" snows.. I'm, now leaning towards some decent all seasons to save some cash . My base Focus SE had them , and they worked great in the snow.. Alan
