Could it be because of a 1998 axle on a 99+ stock front suspension? 1979-93 Mustangs use a 57 inch wide rear axle, 1994-98 use a 58.5 inch, and 1999-04 use a 59.875 inch. Front tracks for those years are different as well. Not sure what having a narrower rear track does for stability.
I'm getting ready to install a VMP Gen II blower this spring and I need to keep the EGR and the associated "birds nest" on the driver's side of the blower due to emissions requirements. The VMP does not have a bracket to attach the whole mess to the blower like on the stock Eaton. I've seen...
Been following these videos on YouTube and I always find them interesting. Keep 'em coming!
Funny things is that 10th anniversary cars seem to be a mix of 03 and 04 models. Mine was built on 23 July 2003 and does not have the center HVAC vent doors and the thicker A-pillars like the 04 models...

Wondering if anyone would know the history of a 2003 Cobra I picked up in July from a dealer in Dundalk, MD. It's a 10th anniversary edition with 12k miles on it. Existing mods are Bassani catted X-pipe, Borla stinger catback, and an Accel conical air filter with a modified MAS connector. When I...
Hey all,
I've been a Mustang driver since I turned 16 and thought I knew them inside and out. I just picked up a 2003 Cobra a few weeks ago, and it looks like I have a lot more to learn! Here's a couple of pics of the new addition, a 2003 Black 10th Anniversary Coupe with 12k on the odo...
Just picked up a 2003 Cobra today with 12k miles on it. During the test drive(s) the transmission shifted fine without any problems. After taking it home and driving it easy around town, I couldn't get it into 1st gear when at a full stop. I could get it in after shifting to 2nd first, but it...
