thickker oil?

Hey Guys, The car is just starting to burn a bit of oil. We are running the 5w20 Joe Gibbs oil. We drove the car and after 120 miles there was about 1 teaspoon of oil in the passenger side catch can. Would it hurt to run a little thicker oil? Has anyone else had this issue? The car has...
