Off the top of my head, I have some answers for your quest Don: 300 2000 Cobra Rs were made. They were all made the same. Yes, 5 were slated to be sold in Canada, but they didn’t get the standard kph speedo or daytime running lights that are required in Canada and therefore were initially deemed not street legal up there. These 5 cars have a decal in the driver’s side door jam stating it is a competition vehicle for closed course use only. The window sticker is also 1/2 English / 1/2 French for those 5 cars. As for the “numbers” on the car, I am assuming you are referring to the race bullet decals. Ford had them on their press release car. They were not on the 300 production vehicles. Some (myself included) have put these decals back on the car. Ford had “00” on the press car, but others have put whatever number they wanted... some also saw track time, so they put their actual race # on their car. The press release car also had black vinyl graphics along the rockers listing all of the major parts suppliers for the car. Some have added these vinyl decals, I have not (yet). Yes, the wheels were 18” and if I recall correctly, they were 9.5” wide and forged. Hope that helps you get more educated on these fine automobiles!
