Can someone explain 'zero lash' to me, and tell me how important it is to get the roller rockers/roller lifters adjusted correctly on my friends new motor??
I have read to tighten them down till they touch, then go an extra 1/2 turn??! Is this right? Is this rocket science?

1/2-3/4 of a turn...if its more, the pushrods are too short, vice versa too long

We did this stuff so much back on my headswap. I just turned the crank while my friend set the lash. I think that when the rocker is all the way down, you tighten the rocker. It's a big pain in the ass. If it's done wrong, the rockers will pop off.
