A poor driver in a cobra would lose easily. You pretty much have to be on kill mode to beat an a4 or shoddily driven m6 ls1. The a4 vs a bolt on cobra is a drivers race with odds favoring the cobra but an m6 vs a stock 01 is the m6's race to lose but it's happened.
Very cool run, awesome even. I don't see a4's really ever running 13.3's or better stock in most forums. Good to know its been done. I guess that 12.95 is like Evan j's 12.4@113 and jdm's 12.3@114 hero runs with bone stock 03 cobras. It was a day in January with anywhere from -9xx to 3xx da depending on the time of day from what I read in the link. If he did it first thing in the morning, he would have gotten amazing -9xx density altitude air to run with, I'd love to get air like that up here haha, every summer it's like da 4500-5600 because of the heat/any humidity from a coming storm front. Hero runs are for sure great bragging rights but they shouldnt be anything to go off of. A lot of 01 stock cobras have run 13.3-13.5 and a lot of a4 ls1's have run 13.4-13.7. Not a fine science and driver variance is the big difference as well as consitions. Not the norm but it happens. In the real world, anything can happen though, run em op, the bench racing has gone on too long. If you can launch, and powershift at 6800rpms, then you have good odds to win if he is bone stock a4 like you said. Good luck.
