i live in texas, just put the plate in the dash just jam it down in there pretty good next to your reg/inspection stickers, doesn't rattle and doesn't block more than an inch of view depending on how you sit, never had a problem with cops about it and no one i know has

most cops won't hassle you about it. i have never had them on any of my stangs, and never had a problem. it's only a fix it ticket anyway

Mine's a Texas car also. Here's the Factory bracket. Some will say it looks Hideous but It's not that bad IMO.

ANYONE HAVE THE FORD PN FOR THAT BRACKET? I WOULD LIKE TO GIFT ONE FOR MY SON.
I have an extra bracket if you want... It's used. $20 shipped??? It only comes w/ 2 bolts though, but you can find another pair at a hardware store.

I am using TORQJNKY bracket...let me tell you its AWESOME!
He uses two swinging arms and rubber stoppers to connect behind the front bumber...see his first posted picture. The wing nuts open to allow the arm to move, and tighten them down to hold in place. 140mph with no issues, nuts are as tight as they were the day i put it on
