new over here and wanted to get some input.

I have a 92 T-bird SC www.supercoupekuhn.com
These pictures are dated, it now has a cage, racing seats fuel cell, etc.
I just sold my V6 engine which produced 450RWHP and 520RWTQ with out nitrous. My best 1/4 mile time was 11.75@121mph last year with the stock M5R2 tranny.

Anyway it is maxed out and I decided to go with a V8. At first I was all about a 5.0, but now I am interested in the 4.6L

Just bought the AJE tubed K member and stripped all the existing wiring. Now looking for a engine and tranny.

First tranny:
Problem is that the stock T-56 is to short by 4" I have the kmember made with the engine mounts 2" back but I still have to get my shifting center point back. Do they have a offset shifter to make up the difference? What is the most RWHP that people our running with the stock tranny? I plan on 600-700 rane w/o nitrous, should I ditch the T-56 idea and go with a g-force or something else?

Engine:

I understand that the motors built pre12-02 have the head problems, was there any issues with the engines built after that?
What should I buy if I get a used one? Anybody have one or have advice please let me know.

Gary
