03 Cobra Rack and pinion

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement rack and pinion for my 03 Cobra? I have been searching for months and can't find anything. I had terrible luck with AGR and had to get a refund after months of waiting. No one is willing to send mine out to Cardone for rebuilding even though Cardone says they will do it. Not a single part store, dealership or online store has it in stock.

Hard to believe they just stopped making this part.

Any help is appreciated.

Why can't you send it to Cardone yourself? Maybe try talking to a local off road shop. I imagine they deal with steering rack rebuilds quite a bit.

Cardone won't do business directly with the customer for some odd reason. I never even thought about asking an off road shop. That's a great idea though.

I have also had luck with off road shops for steering rack rebuilds. If you run out of luck search on Ebay. There were a few SPR-ZM racks on their a few days ago.
