'03 half shafts

I want to put a Kenne Bell on my '01 Cobra, but the half shaft situation worries me. I seem to be reading about more than a few '03 Cobras running 500rwhp. Can the '03 half shafts stand up to such abuse? Basically, could I just upgrade to '03 shafts, or do those 500rwhp '03's need to upgrade to aftermarket half shafts too?

If you're gonna get new half shafts, you might as well get the new ones from Amazon Racing. Supposed to be a whole lot beefier than even the 03 shafts

You might as well look into the after market pieces.

I plan on swapping mine out for the "beefier" ones when I do the suspension.

Thanks guys, I haven't heard a whole lot about aftermarket ones, so I didn't know where to find them, thanks for the advice.

I've heard very very bad things about the first new set of half shafts, the ones that were like 500 or 600 bucks. They snap just as easy as the stock units because of the CV joint, it's the same\ same size as the factory unit and thats where these things snap.

Now AR has a newer set for 895 i believe.
