Thanks ironhand, while looking over the relay in the kick panel, I bumped the wires in front of the ecu. Car immediately shut off like it's been doing. After taking it all apart, I found a module plugged into the top of the ecu ( I'm out of my comfort zone, assuming this is the ecu - it's large, silver box inside the passenger kick panel). The module is pink with sct engraved on top. Googled it, cant find the exact product on their website. The module is not making a good connection, if it moves barely the car shuts off and I get the problem I've been facing. Bought some cleaners, cleaned the crap out of it, and it connects 1000x better, but a good knock will still cause the car to shut down. Call me crazy but I want this to be robust. Any thoughts? Should I just replace this module?
