alright, so i got a 04 cobra and i noticed a very strange and annoying noise, its hard to explain, its not a knock, rattle, whistle, or tick but more of a kind of clanking. it makes the noise at idle, it kinda fades away with rpms, and when i turn the car off it rattles down till the motor stops. I pulled blower belt off, noise still there, pulled inner belt, noise still there, the noise sounded like it was coming from the timing cover. I pulled the cover and noticed my timing chain was hanging down and my tensioner was shot, i was actually happy i saw that, i changed my tensioners to the metal ones, put it all back together and tada, freaking noise is still there :cuss: im going to drop my oil to see if theres any metal in it. im hoping there is none but im not sure whats going on.
