I personally agree, I’m just pointing out the irony of saying a car isn’t stock anymore with a tire swap and in the same breath putting it against a modded car. I also understand that a tire swap on a demon isn’t stock anymore, yet still think it doesn’t take away from the impressive results of the car. I look forward to the same from the GT500 as well. I ultimately find it funny anyone is trying to knock dodge off the metric the car lacks technology be it from a materials used or overall well rounded nature that may be missing from the hellcat variants. People seem to forget that is here on forums that are delving far into the build of a vehicle make up a very small niche market of buyers for said vehicles. The majority of buyers are the average joe who won’t attend the strip, or road course and will never push a car hard enough to see the difference between the abilities of any top tier offering of dodge, ford, Chevy etc. Basically that means dodge hit a home run and the fact that these cars of theirs excite people really shows that. Think new Supra, many are disappointed with Toyota and maybe rightfully so. That still won’t stop people from running out to buy and enjoy that. Ford plays it closer to the chest with the GT500 and builds a more hardcore car for a much more narrow window of buyers and that is their approach. Some love it and to others it would never matter because they don’t get what makes it special anyway.
