Over the weekend I installed a set of 13.8" 2013-2014 gt500 rear rotors and used a caliper relocation bracket I found on here / purchased on ebay. I did this purely for ascetic reasons, to fill the rear 20" rim opening.

The adapter is used so u dont have remove the axles to install these brakes right? I have the 15" gt-500 fronts on my car now. Never bothered with my back brakes!

I've had the stock rears smoking on the road course. I've considered this upgrade as well, mainly for heat management. Have you noticed any improvement in stopping power?

I am not the OP but I haven't noticed any difference, there is also a member here who road races and has used the brackets for a couple seasons with no issues FWIW.

So the increased size and retaining the stock caliper is working with stock brake system? Meaning the rear don't lock, engage sooner...
Not sure I'm asking the right questions.
Is the braking of the car still balanced? Hard stops, soft stops and emergency stops?
What size tire are you running on the rear?

I really like this. Just want to see if it's functional.

Must have lol.

I did it purely for ascetics. I'd imagine the greatest benefit is a larger heat sink / rotor. I haven't driven the car enough to comment on the results.
