Most of the 13 gt500 guys are ditching their stock TVS units for VMP's, etc. Could you mate a 13' tvs onto a 5.0 with the right manifold? Considering their a hell of alot cheaper and almost as reliable?

The bolt pattern is different + you would need to install the hub and 5.0 pulley setup.

What do you mean by 'almost as reliable'? They both use the same internals and they are both manufactured at the same place.

The 13-14 TVS superchargers will bolt right onto the Roush manifold. They have a 10 rib pulley drive where as the typical Roush Coyote spec pulleys have a 6 rib drive. Other than that the blowers are almost identical. It is just not worth doing unless someone offers a kit to accomplish this without using Roush parts such as the DOB kits for the 3V cars. I am sure he is working on a Coyote version. http://www.departmentofboost.com/

2 of the bolt bosses are in different locations...ideally you want all 10 of the bolts in place and torqued to 30 Nm.

If the unit makes noise after installation, that might be why.....

Department of Boost is developing a manifold for the 5.0 guys to accept a GT500 Eaton M122 or TVS. They made one for the 4.6 3V guys and are in the works for making one for the 5.0 but won't be till late Fall they said. I was curious if you could bolt a Eaton M122 onto a TVS/Roush manifold.

The 5.0L bolt pattern is unique - M122 won't fit without an adaptor plate.
