Kenny Brown was around before Kenny Brown performance, building a lot of mustangs for road racing. I stated I believe this work was done when he was involved with Project Industries. But after reading Bob's post, I agree there are probably no Kenny Brown serial number cars in 1985. I've known about the car since 1987. The story goes the car was built for an unknown customer. He traded it in on a family car and one of the salesmen bought the car after driving it and realizing it was much quicker and handled better than a stock mustang. The car is still in the possession of that salesman. At that time the name Kenny Brown didn't mean a whole lot. Fast forward 35 years and he's one of the bigger names in the mustang world. Not sure how much value it would add to the car if Kenny Brown built the car. I am just looking to find a quality Ford mechanic to work on a carbureted car and might be able to give me some information about what was done to the car. It may be an urban myth. But if it was actually built by Kenny Brown it would be an interesting part of mustang history in my thoughts. Thanks for all the feedback.
