My friend wanted to ask you guy's a question. He has a 2001 cobra coupe w/ the following mods. Steeda short throw, Diablo chip, JBA headers, Bassani X w/o cats, Flowmaster 3 in cat-back, Solid axle, 4:30 gears, Steeda sport springs, sloted rotors, Steeda rear upper and lower control arms, Steeda rear sway bar, Tokiko drag shocks, Stock sized K & N, Nitto 275-40 rear. We have had a best time of 60 ft 2.0 13.1 @108.He has bad vibe due to gear swap without alumium driveshaft. Does this sound about right or shoud he have better times?

Im not very familiar with that setup but it sounds like he could do
a little better. How hard is he launching?

Oh yeah he should be running alot faster. Whats he launching at. I launch at around 3,500 or even a little higher depending on track condition ( the more VHT the higher I launch). I"ve pulled off a 12.84 at 107.27with less mods than your friend and the IRS still in. My mods are Mac off road h pipe, Mac cats back, Wms cai kit, 4:10 gears, steeda pullies and a tuned diablo delta chip. He should be doing alot better especially with the IRS swapped out. Thats 100lbs or so taken off the car. That right there he should be a 10th or so faster than me. For every 100lbs or so is worth at least a 10th in the 1/4. Question, can your friend drive good or does he need help. Maybe you should drive the car for him. Just a thought??????????
