I have a 2001 Lightning. I recently installed a remote starter. In order to get a tach reading to the "brain" of the system I had to tap in to one of the positive ignition wires. Its been a month since I have installed it and today when I was going to take it out and I started the car, with the key, and the truck starting vibrating a lot. There were weird sounds coming from the engine as well. After looking around the whole truck up and down I realized that where the ignition wire had been taped wasn’t protected very well. So the only thing that I can come up with is that the wire isn’t getting enough or any power so that piston isn’t firing. So all of the pistons on one side are firing and only three on the other side are. Could this be what my problem is, does it sound likely that this is the problem? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you Joe Santana
