Update! Gutted trunk, doors and air conditioning system from the car this past week/weekend. Cleaned up some wiring but have a ton more to remove. Car is getting lighter by the day. ERW roll cage is being replaced by a DOM 1 3/4" cage which will far exceed any and all governing bodies. We want to take this thing to every event we possibly can and alot will not allow a car with an ERW cage to enter. So, we used the ERW cage to mock up the install, changed a few measurements and resent our measurements to S&W for a new DOM cage to be bent up. Cant thank S&W enough for the great service. They have answered all my questions and helped tremendously. On to the pics! Engine bay minus air con. Front lights are taped up for front end spray painting. Going to hopefully match the rest of the car with "champagne" color Krylon. So far it looks close to matching. Photos to come when painting is done. Front door cut out by Mr J. He doesnt have the steadiest hand.....(the top will be covered by closed cell foam padding) Rear door cut out by yours truly. Looks damn near perfect if i say so myself.(not to dig too much at Mr J) Trunk cut out by Mr M who did a fantastic job at not completely destroying the outer skin of the car. Besides the thing being flimsy as hell the trunk got stupendously light by removing the inner structure. It might weigh 10lbs now with everything that was removed. Wiring being removed from the dash. Going to yank the column and dash bar for the cage install so we can clean up and remove all the wiring not needed at that time.
