2004 Cobra Pilot Bearing Install Depth.. Is this in there all the way??

Here is my issue. I'm swapping out my clutch. replacing the pilot bearing, and I honestly didn't look at the bearing when I took it out to see how far it was in, and now it feels like its in as far as it will go. I installed the FORD RACING FMS-M-7600-B Pilot Bearing.

Here are some pics of the bearing installed. It doesn't look like it sits flush. Is this correct??

The Ford one has a larger shoulder area.
