I'm continuing to work on my Flex and as we've been going through tune revisions and I have more power my first gear boost level has become an issue. You can't boost per gear in the ecoboost and I can no longer give any boost load up in first to take off and 70% of the time even with going from idle I still end up with the ECU closing the throttle due to too much wheel spin and torque sent to the rear axle. This will only get worse when I install my new turbos next week so I'm looking for a way to reduce boost in first gear. My thought is to introduce a boost controller that works on MPH so that I can reduce boost in 1st gear and mitigate these issues. In a GM car you just grab VSS and you're good. In a Ford it's OSS and other than that I am unfamiliar with the Ford platforms inner workings of that signal. Does anybody know of an OSS MPH switch or a how to convert OSS to VSS or a boost controller that will work with Ford OSS signal? I've been doing quite a bit of searching but I'm probably not looking right. Thanks!
