So I am trying to bring the thread up to where the car currently is at. Before I moved away from Tacoma I had the car buttoned up, and running. Finishing up the front timing I installed the Setrab, and all the supporting mods like the thermostatic plate, and gauges. Here are some pics of the rest of those mods. BMR K-Member going back in. In case anyone is going to run the Moroso road race oil pan with a BMR K-member. The BMR brace (shown attached below, that bolts to the inner lower control arm locations) will not fit with the Moroso pan. Setrab, and Setrab bracket mounted. Mishimoto radiator in. A future mod is to box in the radiator/oil cooler. This seems to really help the coyote's out in the track cars I see that have done it. Airlift is awesome, wish I would have known about them earlier. Draws a vacuum in the system first. Let it sit for a while to establish that you have no leaks in the system. Then run a secondary line into your coolant bucket (I used a new 5 gallon home depot bucket. You cannot switch between containers or else it will draw air into the system, so mix up your coolant into a bucket that has more than you will need). It literally fills in seconds. Thermostatic plate, oil lines, sensors: Priming the oil system with the weed sprayer method. My first time using this method. Super easy. Primed the system till oil came out the tensioner (you can see oil between the links) All buttoned up in the engine bay: Don't mind the wiring at this time, was programming the gauges while I was waiting on one of the gauge pods still. After a short break in drive:
