2013 Grille Opening with Dremel?

Anyone ever tried this to open up some more airflow? Seems like 25% of the honeycomb's are just closed with plastic and could be opened up.

Sound like he's trying to avoid spending $500. OP I thought about doing it to my lower completely removing the honeycombs and sanding painting it.

I did my lower myself...it came out ok , but its no showpiece and it was a pita.

I wouldnt recommend doing the upper...I bought the CDC.
