Originally I was considering at 2017 350R but with the track pack added by default to the 350 my only issue is the 350 specific chassis tuning/carbon fiber wheels and a lack of a back seat. Actually my wife will like the SVT seats over the recaro's which would have been a issue for her. In addition you save about $7K but your don't have an R model.

So I ordered the 2017 350 with the convenience pkg which includes tech pkg and track pkg.

Nice first post.

Congrats on the car.

So you passed on an R? Did you find an allocation, then decide to just get a 350?

What excactly is the difference between the electronics package and the convenience package for the 17's, is it just the seats or is it more than that?

Ok so it is literally just the seats on top of everything already in the electronics package. Yeah i'd definatley like to get the electronics package if at all possible.

Strange this isn't my first post but I guess the system may have reset itself over time

Yes I had allocation to get a 17 350R but I passed when the 350 came with the track pack and the convenience pack.

My wife would have issues with the recaro's (Cant complain she letting get a 2017 GT350 and she doesn't want me to sell the 2011 GT500, she want that for herself!)

Also now that I hear a rear seat delete kit is coming for the 350. about the only difference is the carbon fiber wheels which might not be that wise with Detroit roads.
