Yep. Brand new Timken TOB, clutch adjusted so there's 1/4-3/8 gap when you pull on the cable. It makes noise only when letting it out, right when you get to the top of the pedal throw. Squeaks for a few seconds and goes quiet again. What gives?

So it's adjusted so when you're not pushing the clutch the tob is not spinning? And it only squeaks when you let the clutch out, so when it starts to slow down it squeaks. I'd try adjusting it like stock so its got a very slight tension and is always spinning, see if that takes care of it.
Ford Heavy Duty throw out is probably your best bet, I haven't had any problems with mine. Try adjusting it some like suggested above!
