i have 3.73s. I feel like i need a 7th gear on the highway lol. They feel great though. Not sure about anything higher.

I love my 3.73s :banana: What kind of driving do you do in your 5.0? I use mine as my daily driver; not sure I'd go any more than the 3.73s... I go through the gears pretty quick.

stick or auto?

I think that the autos don't need much with their lower 1st gear...

I have 3.73s and a stick...and I think it may have been too much, but it's great for stock power levels.

You're the second person I see say that about needing 4.10's with the Boss intake,why is that??

The Boss intake manifold sacrifices a little bit of the low end torque to achieve the high end hp that it does. The lower torque #s don't mean much for an actual "BOSS" because it's transmission has closer ratios throughout the gears.

Thanks for the input guys,it's stick and it's not my daily but don't want the gears to go by too fast..

3.73 is a good choice. 4.10 will require the use of 5th at the track which is a no no. The optimal gear is a 3.90.

This is using a 28" tire.

My car had a 3.73 in it when I made this pass:
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWRwi-yaZFw"]YouTube - ‪2011 Mustang GT 11.63@118‬‏[/nomedia]

D/A was ~2,500' above SL. Corrects down to a 11.29@121 with a crappy 1.68 60'.

I will be moving to a 3.90 and an ET Drag to resolve the traction issue.
